The season starts on the 23rd April and there is much to do at the ground.
A working party will be in action on Saturday 2nd April and subsequent Saturdays up to the season start from 11.00am until about 2.00pm
Please try and get down and help. There is lots to do and if we want to improve all aspects of our club it starts with a little hard work polishing up our best asset, the ground, before the season starts so please make an effort.
The first league matches are only four weeks away this Saturday. Firsts are at home to York and Seconds away at Carlton Towers on 23rd April. Preparation of the ground is way ahead of normal. The grass has been cut and wicket rolled and is already looking good. The last nets day at Manor will be 10th April. We must take every opportunity to get ready for the season so please try and get down to Manor school the next three Sundays at 6.00pm On Sunday 17th an inter club match is being planned at the ground. It will everyone a chance to bat and bowl on a grass wicket. Times will be circulated nearer the time. should the weather conspire against us we will revert to Manor for a final net session at 6.00pm
We look forward to seeing you all at nets on sunday.
